About

Thirty years securing what matters — now pointed at AI.

The advisor you work with has actually operated inside federal security at scale, not just studied it.

The Background

I spent 30 years doing the work most people only read about. Federal special agent across five agencies. Cybersecurity executive. Deputy Director and Technical Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's HART biometric identification program — leading more than 300 government and contract personnel on one of the most sensitive identity systems in the federal government.

That career taught me how large organizations actually fail at security — and, more usefully, how to fix it at scale. It also put me at the center of the discipline that now defines AI risk: identity. Who — or what — has access, and can you prove it's controlled.

What I do now

I advise federal agencies and regulated enterprises on governing and securing artificial intelligence. I help leaders stand up AI oversight under the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the federal mandates, assess and manage AI risk, and get control of the fastest-growing attack surface in security: AI agents and non-human identities. The goal is never to slow AI down — it's to let organizations adopt it with confidence.

Why it matters

Machine identities now outnumber humans roughly a hundred to one, most of them AI agents, and almost no one can govern them. Regulators and boards have raised the bar faster than most organizations can meet it. I bring federal-grade rigor to that gap — the same standard I held protecting national systems, brought to your AI.
